The Vitascope projector runs without batteries. A hand crank and clever mechanics provide the drive. Simply turn it and off you go!
Magic on the big screen:
The Vitascope conjures up films without electricity. Hold the projector about 30 cm away from the white wall, turn the crank – and you can see the film, accompanied by the clacking of the film reel in the background. You can also adjust the focus to get the images in focus.
